My pup Manguita, has been training at Sit Means Sit Corpus Christi for four years now and let me tell you, the moment they took control of her during the evaluation I knew I had taken the right decision taken her there. By the end of the first face of her training I was glad to see when we went out for walks I was the one taking her for a walk and not her taking me like it used to be before!. She has learn )and so have I) a world of commands that have given me the confidence to take her anywhere where they allow dogs which not not only makes me happy but also very proud of her. Every one of the Sit Means Sit staff, Wes, Casey, Mike, River , Bree and Lisa are always ready to assist you with any questions you may have and give very helpful tips to help you in your pup’s training. Our experience with “Sit Means Sit” was wonderful our trainers, Wes & River are incredibly patient, knowledgeable and thorough. They do an excellent job at explaining exactly what needs to be done and why, which makes the training process feel manageable and effective. The space is very welcoming and comfortable. Creating a great learning environment for both dogs and owners. I always felt supported and encouraged and it’s clear they truly care about their clients. We intend to continue taking our Black Lab, Buddy, to open classes in the future, to maintain our training and for the enjoyment that he gets out of it. Highly recommend!

Lacey had fun and learned a lot! She’s much more reliable on walks and having much more fun with play too. Wes incorporated play with work, so she loved going to training, and we learned a lot about communicating with her. We will continue to take the follow up classes to reinforce what we’ve learned.

I had such an amazing experience with Sit Means Sit in Corpus Christi! I took my dog, Ace, for their two-week board and train program, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. While he was there, the trainers constantly sent me videos and progress updates so I could see how well he was doing. It really showed how much they cared about his progress and well-being.

They did such an incredible job teaching him — using tons of praise, love, and consistency. When I brought him home, I immediately noticed how well he listened and how eager he was to learn. Their training methods truly work, and I can tell they put their hearts into what they do.

Ace is now such a well-behaved, confident, and happy pup, and I’m able to continue his training at home thanks to everything they taught us. I still drive two and a half hours, one way, every week just to attend follow-up classes because it’s absolutely worth it. The trainers and staff are amazing, and the results speak for themselves!

As someone who has always believed in board and train programs for my puppies, I fully intended to sign my new puppy, Berty, up once I did my research on Sit Means Sit.

During my initial consultation with Wes, he completely changed my mind. I never realized the importance of not only the dog being trained, but the owner as well. I chose to put Berty through the Day Train program (every Tuesday for three weeks) and it was not only the best decision I could have made for her, but for me as well.

The dedicated time Wes and River spent with her the first day of the training session was a game changer. At pick up time, “pawrents“ go through an hour long session as well. I couldn’t believe the results for both of us in just one session.

Over the next two weeks, Berty completely transformed. I was also transformed as I now understood the importance of my participation in her training. She went from a puppy that had two modes, chaos or coma, to a puppy who actually listened, acted and felt comfortable doing do.

Wes and River, I can’t thank you enough for the time you invested in Berty. We are looking forward to the continued education with the group sessions! Your talent with not only training dogs, but also training people is unmatched. Your compassion for them, so appreciated.

The best take away for me was your passion for training dogs to be their best and educating me as an “pawrent” to know that it’s not a perfect process… to have fun with your pup. To always keep them moving, but when the time presents itself, sit really does mean sit!

Wow! What a great experience. Never did i think my chihuahua could do all that he has learned. Between how clean and professional the space and staff is.
