River has been working with dogs professionally for over 10 years and brings a unique blend of passion, precision, and sport-driven experience to the Sit Means Sit team. With a background in Police/Military K9 training, competitive dog sports, including Protection Sports, Dock Diving, and Trick Training, River believes in helping dogs thrive both in the home and in high-energy environments.

Whether it’s helping a family pet become more manageable or preparing a dog for the sport field, River is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships between dogs and their handlers. River believes in clear communication, consistency, and giving each dog the structure and confidence it needs to succeed.

When not working one-on-one with clients or leading group classes, River can often be found on the field competing, coaching, or cheering on others in the dog sport world. River is proud to call the Coastal Bend area home and are excited to help more families experience the joy of a well-trained dog.
