Eligibility for Group Classes

To join our Group Classes in Corpus Christi, your dog must first complete an initial Sit Means Sit training program such as Day Train. These private sessions lay the crucial groundwork, teaching core obedience and proper manners that set your dog up for success in a group setting. Frequently Asked Questions About Group Dog Classes

Can I sign up for Group Classes without completing initial training?

No, our group training sessions are not a standalone program. You and your dog must first complete Day Train to join us. If you are interested in signing up for one of these initial programs first, please contact us at (361) 371-0611 or fill out our contact form.

What is the difference between individual training and group training?

Our individual training programs focus on teaching core obedience and manners one-on-one by a certified trainer who tailors each session to your dog’s unique needs. Our Group Class is a follow-up program that helps your dog master those basic skills and practice new tricks around distractions.

How do I know if my dog is ready for Group Classes?

We want to set every dog up for success, so completing our initial private training sessions is the first step before joining our fun and enriching Group Classes. This ensures your dog has a solid foundation in the fundamentals to thrive in the group setting as they continue advancing their training.

I’m a current client. How do I sign up for a Group Class session?

For your convenience, current clients can view our Group Class schedule on our Google calendar. Space is limited so reserve your spot today by calling (361) 371-0611 or filling out our contact form. We can’t wait to see you and your dog in another session soon!

What Corpus Christi Dog Owners Are Saying

Patient and Persistent Trainers
“Luna and I have learned so much from the team at Sit Means Sit! Mike and Wes are great instructors. They are patient and persistent with my golden, and always make sure I’m comfortable and understanding the lesson. I would definitely recommend joining this facility for all your fur-families training needs.”

He Does Everything I Ask
“I have probably one of the most difficult type of dogs to train. A mini Blue Heeler! Since Sit Means Sit, he does everything I ask of him. He knows his “place” and knows what come means, stay and load up. He went to the vet for his shots, and people were amazed at how obedient he was. I told them that it was Sit Means Sit!! Thank you for helping with my fur baby.”
Dinah S.
Trainers Are Like Dog Whisperers
“Absolutely LOVE the staff and everyone at Sit Means Sit! I have learned so much and so has my Ruth girl! The training and teaching is great and they teach you as a dog mama to! I can’t recommend them enough, they’re like dog whisperers and truly care about making a difference in the canine world! Wes & Mike are WICKED AWESOME guys and trainers!”
